You're Waiting for a Train

This sketch I thought of doing after watching inception. I thought the train quote was really cool from the movie so I decided to incorporate it in my sketchbook.

Nothing Gold Can Stay

I loved this poem by Robert Frost so I decided to incorporate it in my sketchbook. In this one I used watercolors along with my Indian Ink pen.

Floppy Hat

I love floppy hats so I decided to draw one. Once I was finished the sketch reminded me of a farm scene so I decided to use a quote from Dust Bowl Dance by Mumford. This is one of my favorite songs so I kind of went crazy with the quotes haha

Peddlers Market Lamp

My sister recently got this antique lamp the Peddlers Market and I decided that I had to draw. I was interested to see how my new pen would work with drawing glass. Overall I was pretty happy with the result, but I wish I had been a little more careful with my hand righting because the quote got a little sloppy.

Lighthouse

This sketch features colored pens and cross hatching. I've been experimenting with different techniques to use with pen and ink, and this is what I came up with. I used a quote from a poem this time called Lighthouse by Henry Longfellow.

Necklace Organizer

I recently saw this project on pinterest and thought I would try it. It was actually really easy and all you need is a board, knobs, a drill, jar, and a clamp holder (to hold the jar).

It's a Seahorse!

So I went all out on stippling with this. It turns out I really like this technique, and will probably use it again in the future.
